Sarah Kirkwood is a Santa Barbara–born interior designer with over a decade of experience shaping refined, high-end residential environments throughout California and beyond. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from San Francisco State University and developed her design foundation working with both internationally recognized AD100 firms and highly regarded boutique studios in San Francisco and Santa Barbara.

In 2026, she founded Solid Studio, a Santa Barbara–based interior design practice grounded in thoughtful space planning, custom furnishings, and elevated materiality. Her portfolio spans projects ranging from focused FF&E scopes to comprehensive, ground-up residential builds.

Solid Studio is defined by a collaborative and detail-driven approach, bringing together architects, fabricators, and artisans to create homes that feel timeless, intentional, and deeply personal.
